Hi,
Vintage Walberg & Auge percussion sound effect stage or parade prop. Some cosmetic damage/wear to the wood case, but otherwise in solid condition.
One screw on the top near the sound hole may have been for a volume cover or flap, but that piece is now long gone.
The hand crank is easy to turn. Sounds like rapid fire machine gun and is quite loud.
Stands approximately 17 1/4" on a base that is 10 1/2" x 5 1/4".
