Antique1950’s Indonesian Puppets – Wayang Golek Carved Wood – Jakarta This lovelypair of Indonesian Wayang Golek wood puppets were purchased in in a small shopin Jakarta in the early 90’s. They are hand carved and hand painted. Both haveremoveable balance sticks and moveable hand sticks to move and pose the puppets.The male puppet is approximately 19” tall, and the female is 17 ½” tall. Bothcome with a wooden stand.Bothare in good pre-owned condition for their age. Note th...at there is fading of thepaint (see photos), and the female’s brooch is missing a few stones.
