I am not sure what year this driver was made, but it seems like an early-mid 1980s product. The MS12 can be considered a contemporary of the Electro-Voice 12" high-power speakers that were seen in 1x12 combos like Mesa Boogies back then. This speakes measures about 6.4-6.5 ohms DCR and it weighs around 15.8 lbs.
There's one small hole near the outer edge of the cone that was professionally patched up - note dark spot in close-up (small piece of gasket appears it was torn away and re...-glued, also). Tone and performance not affected or altered in guitar amp settings.
