You are viewing a beautiful vintage Royal Sealy Japan teacup and saucer. It depicts purple violets and yellow dogwood flowers on a pale green ground. The gold is very well represented and there is not much wear to the gold, but you can see some slight wear by looking at the rim of the saucer from a side angle. It is not very noticeable at all, due to the fact that the gold is applied is a sporadic, sponge like manner, so parts of the gold application are spotty, not s...olid. All of the other gold areas are well represented. The saucer measures 6" in diameter and the set stands about 3.5" tall.
