VINTAGE 1977 SHOGUN WARRIORS GODZILLA TRUE 1ST ISSUE MATTEL JAPAN SUPER RARE NOS. This super rare 1st issue 1977 Shogun Warrior Godzilla is in near perfect condition. Perfect colors and not a mark on it. The tail has never been put on. I believe the original instructions/manual are inside where the tail goes on. The cap for the tail is on tight and looks like it has never been removed. I was told when I bought this Godzilla that it was never used. It looks like new old stock. You... will not find one in better condition.
The tongue works and the claw launches perfectly.The original box is not in mint condition. It is all there, but has a tear and shows some wear from being stored and moved around. It is no where near mint, but it is the original box and it is all there. More pictures of the box and Godzilla are available upon request.
This is a true 1st issue. Made in Japan. The bottom of the feet has 1977 TOHO Co. LTD. JAPAN.
On the outside of the tail there are no ridges.
Inside of the tail has a raised lip to help it stay attached to the body.
The box is identified on the front as being 20" tall.
The box side has text that reads COMES FULLY ASSEMBLED.
The side of the box has the copyright line that reads Made in Japan, Manufactured By Bandai Co. LTD.
Printers code on the box front established to read R6493>P643>2440.
This is very very rare vintage Godzilla Shogun Warrior. Please look up all the information on the 1st issue Godzilla's. There are not many out there, especially in near perfect condition.
