for auction is a vintage Jensen triaxial 3 way 15'' speaker . I believe it is a model G 610. It comes with the A 221 cross over and Jensen control knobs and original control mounting screws. ( see plastic bag in pictures). They are a recent find. They have been litely dusted of the accumulated dust from years behind a library cabinet wall. There is some surface rust on the cross over box. There is not any surface rust on the speaker that I can see. The speaker cone has no rips or tears. It is ju...st a bit dusty and dirty, and could use some proper additional cleaning. I see no real or serious damage to the speaker or the cross over. I have not tested the speaker for sound quality, but I did plug the speaker to the cross over and put an Ohm meter on it. The Ohm meter reads 13.3. ( see pictures) Other than this, I am selling the speaker and Crossover as untested and for restoration. The serial number on the speaker is 220519. ( see picture 5). We introduced them to Closson's Gallery in Cincinnati and they had their first show in 1970. These works have been selling in shows, galleries and auctions world-wide ever since, which is itself ...a testimonial to the skill and how collectable this artist remains. Right after things got going for them, in the way of a thank you, Jens wrote a poem just for our family that has never before been seen or published. I will be giving a copy of the poem to the purchaser of this fine work of art. We bought this and some other paintings and took them to Suder's Gallery in Cincinnati to have them framed. A vintage 1965 Gretsch 6159 Dual Bass 2x12 tube combo amp in great cosmetic condition. At roughly 30watts this amp is one of the few vintage Gretsch amps with giggable power, the 2x12 6159 has a big sound but is still light enough that you won't have to hire a road crew to move it. It features a nice, thick clean tone that turns into a rich overdrive as you turn up the gain, reminiscent of a narrow panel-era tweed Fender with a bit more clean headroom. Not original handle. One red light looks like replacement. Plug in cord is in good condition. This belonged to a friend's father she inherited from. It was matched up with a 1965 Gibson Standard GS guitar that he played with in local bands. The guitar already sold on Ebay. This was stored in a closet wi...th the guitar for over 20 years. This amp is in as found condition, except for the slight cleaning I already talked about. Amp is UNTESTED. Amp is NOT TESTED.
