Mr. Smoots wa an oil company credit manager, who had a love for the movies and collected photos of Hollywood stars from the 1920s until his passing in 1951. Mr. Smoots knew most of the studio photographers and through these connections was able to amass a sizable collection. This collection remained undisturbed from his death in 1951 until the early 1980s. The majority of the collection was donated to the Margaret Herrick Library at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts Sciences in 1992. At that time the donation was the largest one-time donation of photographs ever made by a private party to the Library. An article describing this donation can be found in the June, 1992 Academy Report (Volume 1, No. 2). This photo is part of the remaining photographs that were not donated to AMPAS and represent the best of the best of the Smoots collection. Please keep checking back, as many of the photos from this collection will be made available over the coming months.Things you should know about our photographs:We only sell original vintage antique collectible photographs. The scanned images of both sides of the photo are oversized to exaggerate details, in order to provide as accurate a representation of the condition of the photograph as possible.Images are scanned on a black background so you can accurately see the condition of the edges and corners of the photographAll photographs are stored in acid free PVC free plastic sleevesAll photographs are shipped in between two pieces of rigid cardboard to protect against damage during shipment.Multiple purchases will be combined to save you on shipping. Mature sexy pinup pose of famous, legendary British model, Teri Martine. Great colour photo 8 X 10 printed on medium weight HP glossy paper. Excellent condition, no defects. This was taken just before I retired My last custom shoot Taken in Seattle, by my long time Friend and Photographer. Never circulated. I will be happy to sign this for the lucky winner, if requested. From my own personal collection.I started my career as a Model in the U.K. in 1964 as an Amateur Model for various camera clubs.... After about a year, I became a Professional Model, moving up to London and joining with several Model Agencies, one of them being 'The June Palmer Agency'. June and I became best Friends and worked together on several different modeling assignments.I appeared in numerous Glamour Girl magazines, both in the U.K. and Internationally, modeled for various Companies, that took me to Hong Kong, France, Corsica and the U.S.A. Aside from appearing in Magazines, I also graced the covers on several Novels, record Album sleeves, hair advertisements, lingerie' catalogues, Private Detective magazines, appearances at Earl's Court Motor shows, and promotions for movies, such as 'McKenna's Gold' starring Tele Savalas and 'Funny Girl' starring Barbra Streisand. I also appeared in a couple of General circuit movies, the Titles of which were 'Only birds can fly' produced by Peter Walker and 'The naked World of Harrison Marks', that was a big hit in the Soho area of London. I also appeared on Safety posters in various Factories and work places. In 1969 I left the U.K. and came to the U.S.A which has been my home since. I pursued my career as a Model here in the U.S. doing Glamour and Fetish modeling. My career lasted well over 40 years and I retired at 62. I am currently working on my memoirs and writing them in a book which I hope to get published. Photo will be mailed via First class for Domestic and International, in a protective sleeve and backing board, securely packaged. Please note: payment is expected no later than three days after receiving invoice. Check out my other items, and save me to your favorites list. Good luck on the bidding

The choice was one of the first indications Yeager had her pulse on what was considered the height of female glamour, and her decades long career as a model and pin up photographer would see her join Turner as one of those who defined American female beauty in the 20th century.Statuesque and with a beaming smile, Yeager began entering beauty contests shortly after moving to Florida at 17. She enrolled in modeling school, and signed to Coronet Modeling Agency upon receiving positive attention during her six-week training. She won many of the pageants she entered, and was crowned Miss Trailer Coach, Sports Queen, and--most fittingly--Queen of Miami. The colorful titles suited her, and her early modeling work shows her vivacious personality, and ideal 1950s curves. Not visible in the images though, was Yeagers relentless drive and creativity. Rather than paying photographers for the many prints she needed to get her name in front of scouts to book jobs, she decided to take darkroom photography to develop her own pictures, and began learning how to use a camera. On assignment for this class, she took the Marilyn Monroe look-a-like Maria Stinger to a local wildlife park (where she would later return to shoot one of the most enduring pin up images of Bettie Page, flanked by cheetahs), and ended up selling the work for use as the March 1954 cover of the girlie magazine Eye.It was clear Bunny Yeager had found her path. 1954 would prove to be a transformative year for Yeager and pin-up photography as an art form.
