Exterior color is smoke silver (code 702) with black leather interior (code 261). This car features the original AMG 6.0 liter quad cam engine. These are extremely rare and rarely come up for sale so take this opportunity seriously if you are a Mercedes-Benz or AMG collect...or. VIN is WDB1260451A429238. Current mileage is approx. 98, 000 - kilometers (approx. 60, 000 miles). This particular 6.0 liter wide-body AMG was one of 6 similar vehicles completed for the Japanese market based on a series of orders submitted in the Spring of 1990 according to research. These were all ordered and completed at about the same time and based on brand new, fully warranted 560 SEC models. The transformation and re-engineering took a fair amount of time and it was nearly two years before they began to appear at Japanese motor shows and in various Japanese enthusiast magazines. The car has always been considered a weekend car by all three owners, having never been a daily driver. It has lived a life out of the sun, spending 99 of its life in a garage. This 2002 Porsche 911 Turbo shows just over 29k miles and is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Graphite Grey leather. The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six sends power to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle, and the vehicle was completely serviced within the last 200 miles.The exterior is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic, and no accidents are listed on the included Carfax report. Close-up photos of the lenses and quad exhaust tips are provided in the gallery below.The body and paint on this vehicle is simply the finest you will find on a seventeen year old car, unless it had zero miles on it. These 560SLs from the late 80s are just that kind of collectable. They were built back in the traditional era of Mercedes Benz, before all the computer driven systems were put in place. These Benz Roadsters from this era will be on the road long after the computer cars lose their support and end up in the salvage yard with all the old computers we throw away. This car is being sold for a friend. This is a stellar, turn-key original automobile. This is a solid 2 to 1 condition vehicle that needs nothing and runs perfectly. Being that it is mostly a survivor I would call it a 1 for its overall amazing original condition. Only in Southern CA can a car live its life and maintain that factory fresh feel and appearance. This is a Two Owner Southern CA, Mercedes Benz. The car was purchased new in Southern CA and has remained here its entire life. In 1991 it fell into the hands of a car gal collector type, where it stayed for 28 years, while only driven about 12K miles during that time. She is what I would classify as a car freak and a master at keeping a car maintained to perfection. This car does not look like it has ever spent a day of its life out in the light. Everyday and night has been spent in a garage minimal time out in the sunlight of day. The Exterior, Interior, Wheels and Under the Hood all look absolutely Brand New. There are no dings or scratches to this gorgeous automobile. This vehicle is in absolutely flawless condition and needs nothing. There is an extensive book of records proving the mileage to be accurate. Also the Carfax shows all the smogs with mileage since 1991. Body PaintThe Body is a 9.8 out of 10, not one flaw on it anywhere. I cannot find one ding or one scratch on this vehicle. Every panel is near flawless and original and looks to NEVER had any bodywork. There are a grouping of shut-line pictures giving testament to the exacting fit to the body of this SL. The paint is in excellent shape and is mirror like on every panel. I would rate the paint as a 9.5 out of 10. Note: In looking at the pictures I would say the second picture from down (below this writeup) of the side view with tree in the background is the truest color to the cars daylight finish color. I took the top-down pictures near dusk on a very sunny day and the light was changing very quickly and some of the pictures look almost too dark. The hardtop-on pictures were taken at the same location but with very little sunlight on an overcast morning. You can see the differences in the way the color changes depending on the light. I would call this a very medium gray metallic color. And with the Light BrownJava interior makes for a gorgeous color combo on this 560SL. DON bezel slightly rubbed and with one crack at 3 oclock. secured will not damage further. goo...d dial with minor aging and some light paint loss around the step in the dial. we added a few pictures in Bright Australian Sunlight the Dial turns Brown now. a few darker spots remain. looks quite stunning. depends on the Light Angle. the top Protective Lacquer seems intact. the Bezel Insert looks like charcoal Grey now ....... long steel alpha hands, slightly curved. as it should be . lost their shine and a few minor spots on the hands. some paint loss on the running second, counter and center second hand. these hands look like service hands they are a bit shorter than they should. shape seems ok, but lengths is slightly too short. correct case back and inner movement cover in perfect condition. this watch has not seen moisture . the caliber 321 movement was just serviced by an Omega watchmaker and NO part was replaced. it is truly as beautiful, as it left the factory. the screw heads are hardly touched at all. all plates are shiny red gold. might be the best one, ive seen . keeps perfect time and has a 6 months mechanical warranty ( pls. ask for exeptions) . everything works as designed. head only. Up for sale without reserve is an extremely rare Rolex Trubeat reference 6556 from the 1950s. This watch is very rare and has a special movement caliber 1040 which features a "dead seconds" feature. Many of the Trubeat models with 1040 movements were converted to a sweep seconds, thereby losing the most unique feature of the watch If you don't know what I mean, there is a great article about the Trubeat on Hondinkee that goes into detail about the rarity and marvel of this watch. The important t...hing to note, is this watch is 100 original and still has the dead seconds movement intact I just had the watch serviced and it is running perfectly to COSC specificationsThis watch comes from the original owner who received it as a gift from his employer in the 1960s. It comes on a Rolex Swiss riveted bracelet dated "67" on the clasp. This mask is one of two fine African sculptures being offered in this weeks sale. The estate has had the carvings for several decades, this example also comes with an appraisal done 37 years ago in 1982 as seen. In our opinion these pieces are likely more suitable for a high-end auction venue than here on eBay, but as we have been ordered by the estate lawyers everything is to be sold without reserve. br br We do not know a great deal about the pieces ourselves and we are not experts in this area. From what I have read about these Fang masks between 1910-1920 colonial courts controlled by the European administration established at that time, in both Gabon and Cameroon. These administrative authorities led to the gradual disappearance of such tribes and most of these large Fang masks with streamlined, exaggerated forms, whitened with kaolin were destroyed during this period. This has led to very few such examples still being in existence today. These Fang masks are noted as being some of the rarest and most sought after examples of African art than can be found. It is Well Worth getting some expert opinions to determine the masks value. The appraisal from 37 years ago estimated its value then at 32, 000. From what I have seen the interest in African art since then has risen substantially along with numerous record setting prices in recent years. br br The mask is a very impressive large size example to display measuring 28 12 inches tall, by 12 inches wide, and 12 inches deep. The mask on display stand measures 36 inches tall. The mask shows wear, minor imperfections and losses to the white kaolin as see. I am sure what one should see on an authentic older unaltered estate-fresh example like this in its honest original condition. The mask is overall in substantially good and intact condition as seen. br br The mask is a truly breathtaking piece to display mostly with studio lights reflected properly at the Fang mask it looks incredible. I believe the opportunity to acquire such an example like this outside a major auction without reserve is literally a once in a lifetime opportunity.
